RENTAL & RESERVATION POLICY
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please read our terms & conditions carefully before ordering your Lawn Letters Australia greeting. You should understand
that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions;
1. Lawn Letters Australia displays are contact free! All Lawn Letters Australia displays are a rental and charged on a daily hire fee, unless otherwise agreed your rental is up to 24 hours.
2. Payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm/hold your reservation/date. Please use the secure link via Stripe payments, using your credit or debit card.
3. Rush & same day orders will be accomodated with the following conditions;
*Based on available inventory
*Rush fee of $25 will apply
*Bookings placed within 24 hours of requested event day are not guaranteed
*Order will be refunded if location is unable to complete order
4. Lawn Letters Australia delivers directly to you or your nominated recipient. We deliver and install your greeting and will return to
dismantle and remove your greeting. Unless otherwise specified, deliveries usually occur after dark, delivery times may vary dependant on bookings. Additional days may be added to your reservation at a rate of 50% of the daily rental fee.
5. Delivery within our nominated locations is included in your package price. Lawn Letters Australia service the Northern Gold Coast, for delivery outside of these locations please contact us for delivery fees.
6. If you have a specific area of the yard you require the display to be installed you must give clear instructions at the time of your booking or before installation. We will not relocate the sign to a different section of the yard if you have failed to communicate any specific instructions. You will be charged an additional fee to cover the cost of time to relocate the sign, if you require us to return to the premises to do so, a call out fee will be charged dependant on your location and distance of travel.
7. If you have hired our stands for use indoors or at a public venue, you must seek permission for the installation from the chosen venue. Our stands must not be tampered with, altered or removed. At public events, a responsible adult must remain with the stands at all times to ensure the safety of everyone.
8. In the possibility of prohibitive or inclement weather, we encourage you to have a Plan B. We may be able to provide a solution to install your greeting on our indoor stands (for hire subject to a minimum of 24-48 hours notice and availability). Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, high winds, flooding or other hazardous weather conditions that prevent set up and/or take down.
In the possibility of prohibitive conditions such as hard ground, rock, clay, we may not be able to penetrate the stakes into ground with such conditions. Where there is no alternative grounds to install the display we may not be able to proceed with the installation.
9. All Lawn Letters Australia greetings are meant to be pleasant surprises. Please remember to notify the homeowner that they will be receiving the greeting within 24 hours so they can make arrangements. Homeowners need to turn off their sprinkler systems and notify yard service companies to suspend any lawn maintenance for the duration of the lawn greeting. In preparation of our arrival, we kindly ask for pets to be secured inside the home or a fenced area. Pet waste needs to be removed from the yard prior to installation. If possible we ask for you to water your lawn prior to our arrival.
10. All lawn set ups include an advertsising sign for Lawn Letters Australia. This may NOT be altered or moved.
11. All signs remain the local Lawn Letters Australia franchisee’s property. Any damage, destruction or tampering with Lawn Letters Australia signs is prohibited. If there are any damaged or missing items you will be held liable to replace these items at full replacement value.
12. Lawn Letters Australia reserves the right to politely decline orders that are political, controversal, lewd, disrespectful or that do not fit the celebratory nature of our business. Lawn Letters locations are independently owned and revising requested wording or declining orders is done so at the Franchise owners discretion. If an order is declined, a full refund will be given.
13. If you require your lawn display to be installed or picked up on a holiday (Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Anzac Day, Labour Day, Queens Birthday, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Halloween, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve
or New Years Day) a 15% surcharge will be applicable.
14. Lawn Letters Australia reserves the right to photograph our displays and use them for marketing and other purposes. We encourage you to pose next to your display to take photo’s of your celebration. Please tag us on our social media pages. We absolutely love seeing all your happy moments!
By placing a reservation with Lawn Letters Australia you are agreeing to all terms and conditions outlined in this document.
SAFETY
1. For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greeting display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning or sitting with them.
2. We do ask that you take pride in your lawn display and treat it with respect. Please DO NOT move the items or pull signs from the ground.
3. Please DO NOT attach balloons to any part of the display yourself. This may only be permitted by a qualified balloon tecnician approved by Lawn Letters Australia.
4. If your sign has been installed on our indoor stands, please ensure you have a responsible adult to remain with the display the entire duration and make sure the guests DO NOT lean on/or push the signs. The vertical display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning or sitting with them.
5. Lawn Letters Australia and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the set-up, rental duration or removal of your display.
REFUNDS POLICY
1. In the event you need to cancel your booking more than 2 weeks prior to the booking date, Lawn Letters Australia reserve’s the right to partially refund 50% of your total booking amount.
2. If your cancellation is within 2 weeks of your booking date then no refund will be provided. You may choose to transfer your booking to a future date, subject to availability.
3. If your booking is inconvenienced due to COVID-19, you can choose to have your sign installed with complete contactless delivery or postpone your booking to a future date within 12 months subject to date availability.
4. If you have made a choice to postpone your booking to a later date and we have created a customised design for your display, the booking will need to remain the same for the future booking. No changes can be made to the picture pack specifically designed for your original booking (unless we already have the desired change of theme in our current inventory).
5. In the possibility of prohibitive or inclement weather, where there is no alternative solution for the installation as outlined in Clause 7 (T&C’s), Lawn Letters Australia reserve’s the right to refund 50% of your sign display or postpone the booking to a future date within 12 months subject to date availability.
6. In the rare possibility of prohibitive conditions such as hard ground, rock, clay; Where there is no alternative solution for the installation of your display at the chosen location, you may choose to postpone your booking to a later date or Lawn Letters Australia reserve’s the right to partially refund 50% of your sign display booking.
7. No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the incorrect address.
8. No refunds will be given due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the lawn display.
9. No refunds will be given due to be denied access to a gated community.
10. No refunds will be given due to any animals that prevent the display from being set up.
11. No refunds will be given due to errors that occur on order submission.
12. No refunds will be given for circumstances that prevent us from setting up the display that are out of our control.
